During all railroad meets as well as on special operating days, the tower at Adobe City will be manned and operational.
All train movement within the Adobe City yard will be under the direction of the tower via Family Service Radio (FSR).
Radio communication is performed on various channels. Please check with the tower to determine which channel and tones are being used.
All engineers, trainmen and conductors must have radio contact with the dispatcher or station when carrying the public.
Radio contact is not required outside the Adobe City yard, however, radios are a good way to contact the tower if help is needed on any of the divisions.
Please Note:
The Arntchoo Branch is double tracked with right-hand running out and back.
The Pottsville, BobBerg, Werner, and Farflung branches are controlled by automatic signals.
The Serpentine Soup and Sewwer Shortline branch is unsignaled, and requires use of radios.
