Sahuaro Central is a very important part of Adobe Mountain Desert Railroad Park and Museum. The park could not exist without Sahuaro Central; the organizaion holds the lease for the park with the Maricopa County Recreation Services Department.

In addition to overseeing the development of the park Sahuaro Central operates the museum at Pottsville which has a number of displays of railroad materials, most recently the development of the railroad hardback book and periodical libraries.

Sahuaro Central is constructing a 14-inch gauge, 12-passenger trolley which will carry park visitors from the MLS station at Pottsville to Adobe City. Sahuaro Central has also been presenting "Everything Railroad" swap meets twice each year since 1985.

Sahuaro Central deserves your support. For annual dues of $25 you can be a part of the organization and take advantage of the facilities, the extensive library and you can become involved in Sahuaro Central projects.
